Best-of-five and double elimination. The higher seed in a matchup -- whoever had been in the winners bracket longer -- chose either its bank of stations or its team color, and where two matchups ran at once the higher seed picked stations first, with the two sides of a matchup kept on opposite banks. A losers-bracket team winning the championship final forced a tiebreaker, since both sides would then have lost exactly once. Two games here were played more than once: the winners-final flag game kept crashing and was restarted until it stood, and the losers-final bomb game finished level and was settled by a short rematch.
