The scale was deliberately lopsided: a single win outweighed three second places, on the reasoning that a player who never won a game had not won anything. Two of seven afterwards preferred the old kill-based system. This finish did double duty -- the top four became the 2v2 captains and were seeded by it, which is why the rules held a 15-kill tie-breaker ready for any tie in the top four. There were none.
