Eight people and two games, which no other LAN has managed: Halo Infinite through the afternoon and evening, then Evil Dead. Vivid brought a PC and ran the Halo half off a LAN server on it -- the post-mortem calls that the best thing about the night -- and it is why none of this LAN's twenty-five archived matches carries the map or gametype metadata every other Infinite LAN's does. The Evil Dead tournament never finished. It was a best-of-seven, three of the eight sat out every game, and it was tied 1-1 when Mike's Xbox started shutting itself off mid-game; the series was abandoned there and nobody wrote down what had been played. Its trophy was handed out anyway. The MVP was settled by a show of hands among the winning team.
